SAN FRANCISCO – Hope International University has been recognized as one of the best colleges offering online learning in the nation by the Community for Accredited Online Schools (AccreditedSchoolsOnline.org). As a leading resource for campus and online learning, the site released its annual ranking for the 2018-2019 school year, honoring Hope International University multiple times for its excellence in online learning.

AccreditedSchoolsOnline.org named HIU one of the “Best Online Colleges in California 2018-2019.” Hope’s #26 ranking is higher than USC (#28) and USD (#30), and just below Pepperdine (#25), putting HIU in an elite class of 4-year California Colleges.

To qualify, schools must be regionally or nationally accredited, hold a not-for-profit status in the United States, and offer at leastone online degree. Schools were then ranked based on their quality, affordability, flexibility,and degrees granted to their students.

To determine quality, which was the most important consideration for all ASO rankings, the most impactful data points were acceptance and graduation rates; for affordability, tuition and grants; for flexibility, part-time enrollment offerings; and for program, degrees conferred in that program area.
