The Children's Pastor Responsibilities Include: Oversight of Children’s Ministry, including paid staff and volunteers, birth through 5th grade. Recruit, build, train and schedule a volunteer team that will provide a world-class Children’s Ministry. Provide a high energy, engaging weekend children’s service. Create an attractive, safe and welcoming environment for children and parents. Provide a mid-week discipleship program.
Application Requirements:
Education & Experience
Minimum of 5 years of ministry experience
Undergraduate degree required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Great relational skills.
Strong communicator able to capture and keep the attention of children, as well as, communicate with parents.
Skilled in organization and administration.
Skilled in the use of technology for ministry purposes.
A self-starter and hard worker.
A team player with a positive attitude.
Personal Characteristics & Qualifications
A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a vital, growing personal relationship with Him.
Commitment to moral purity.
Commitment to the Mission, Vision, and Direction of Cross Mountain Church.
Demonstrated excellence as a Leader, i.e. has grown a Children’s Ministry over the past few years.
