Continuing its mission to provide veterans, their spouses, and the military community with the finest choices for education opportunities, Military Friendly has released the 2020-21 Military Friendly® Schools list. HIU has received this prestigious annual recognition and designation yet again.
Military Friendly® Schools strive towards and succeed in the areas that matter most in helping veterans make the transition from the military to school, and ultimately, satisfying careers in the civilian world. Earning the designation shows that your school meets the minimum criteria.
Hope International University honors and respects the commitment our nation's service members have and are putting forth to protect and serve our country. HIU offers a number of benefits to help you achieve your professional, personal, and academic goals in a supportive environment. In addition, we accept military credits earned through service schools (SMARTS, AARTS, and CCAF) or DANTES/CLEP exams. With HIU you will be connected with an Academic Coach who is specially trained to assist with military and VA benefits. For more, see hiu.edu/military
Institutions earning the Military Friendly® School designation were evaluated using both public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey completed by the school. More than 1,000 schools participated in the 2020-2021 survey, with 625 schools earning the designation from every state in the country.
Now in its 10th year, the Military Friendly® Schools list has come to set the standard for higher education institutions to provide the best opportunities for veterans and their spouses. This prestigious list provides a comprehensive guide for veterans and their families using data sources from federal agencies and proprietary survey information from participating organizations.
The 2020-2021 Military Friendly® Schools list also has been published in the G.I. Jobs magazine.
