Founded in 1928, HIU will celebrate its 97th commencement on May 17, 2014. The Spring 2014 graduates come from a student body of more than one thousand students drawn from 44 states and over 20 countries. The commencement speaker will be Brad W. Dacus, Esq., President, Pacific Justice Institute.
The graduates illustrate the University"s mission of preparing both professional and volunteer servant leaders for congregations and communities. They also illustrate the University"s expanding commitment to adult learners and international students who want to make a positive difference where they will serve. These individuals join over 8,700 alumni who carry Hope International University"s legacy of service and ministry to the church and society. Their achievements have been facilitated by a faculty qualified by both academic credentials and Christian service at a top Southern California Christian University.
This commencement will celebrate Hope International University"s 39th academic year in Fullerton. Here, as earlier in Long Beach and Los Angeles, the University has maintained a diligent commitment to advance the mission of Christ around the world.
