NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION (NSO)
Saturday, August 17 – Friday, August 23

Welcome new students of Hope International University’s! We are inviting you and your family to come and be a part of the Fall 2013 NSO experience. This is a great opportunity to get everyone prepared for this new and exciting adventure while getting plugged into the campus community. Come and experience what it means to be a part of the Hope family. It all begins 9 a.m. August 17, with Check-In Lawson-Fulton Student Center. We will see you there!
About NSO
NSO exists to help and support new students as they transition into the Hope community. A number of activities and seminars are planned to prepare new students for their experience at Hope by exposing them to educational opportunities, helping them develop quality relationships, and encouraging them to access campus resources. Orientation is also the time for new students to celebrate as they take this next step, receive instruction and guidance as they transition into the Hope community, including academic advisement in preparation for registration, and much more. NSO is a part of the department of Student Affairs which strives to provide holistic support for students to grow intellectually, socially, and spiritually.
This year our theme is LIVE ROYALLY! We understand that this is a big transition for students (and their families), and with transition can come lots of changes that may sometimes be difficult. However, we also understand and believe that we have a God that is bigger than all of us and He has prepared the way for us. Not only do we want you to live royally as a child of God, but also as you become an HIU Royal! Go Royals!
