B.A. Preaching Ministry
At Hope, the Preaching Ministry major prepares students with skills that will serve as a foundation for pastoral ministry. Balanced between theory and practice, our students learn how to create programs that challenge the church to spiritual growth and how to serve alongside pastoral staff. Practical skills such as mission and vision development, budget management, personnel and facilities management serve to craft a strong foundation for each graduate.
The program includes a strong Biblical foundation and the curriculum provides a foundation that blends theory and experience. The B.A. in Preaching Ministry program is 126 units.

"My experience at Hope International University has been the single biggest factor in shaping me into the person and the preacher that I am today. While there I had the privilege of studying under some great professors who were not only knowledgeable of their subjects but also had a passion and desire for the church. During my years at Hope I was constantly challenged and encouraged to be who God was calling me to be, and to devote my life to advancing His kingdom. I will forever be in debt to Dr. Grana and Dr. Webb who did more that just teach me how to proclaim the message of Christ, but also took the time to mentor me personally and show me what it means to live the message that we preach."
