Testimonials
Lani Daly'04, B.S.
"I chose Hope International University because as a single mother and a full-time employee, I needed a program that would accommodate those obligations. From my first interaction with Hope's counseling and administrative staff, I knew Hope was where I was supposed to be! I attended Hope's School of Professional Studies Human Development Program because the timeframe and cost seemed achievable and the curriculum included a strong foundation of human services and counseling qualifying me for various graduate programs. I had co-workers who either had or currently were attending Hope, and we all agreed - the curriculum was outstanding.
I am currently a first year Social Work student at USC. I recently received a scholarship from the Child Welfare League of America toward my MSW degree and I currently serve as an Associate of Children and Family Futures (CFF). CFF is a local (Irvine) non-profit technical assistance organization that provides strategic planning and evaluation to local, state, and national agencies. CFF's mission is to improve the lives of children and families affected by substance use disorders and child abuse or neglect. My education at Hope gave me research and statistical skills that I apply in my job daily. Hope was my foundation to a strong future in public child welfare. I know I can do anything now!"
Hear what other students say about our programs...
- Pamela Douros, B.S., Human Development: "Loved it - it was fantastic! I have recommended it to my friends and family. Thank you for the online program - without it I would not have been able to finish college."
- Marilee Parlier, B.S., Management: "Online, we definitely work as hard and learn as much as students who attend in a traditional manner. I feel prepared to interact with other professionals on a higher level, having been educated in what matters most."
- Deborah Vinall, B.S., Human Development: "I especially loved the spiritual integration, it added a depth and richness that made the learning invaluable. The quality was so high that when I interviewed for an entry level mental health position at the end of my BS program, they assumed I had completed my Masters already and offered me a higher position instead."
- Hiltron Bailey, B.S., Christian Ministry: "Great school, great people, and great education. If one feels the need to serve humanity, there's no question they should attend Hope International University."
- Robin Warner, B.S., Human Development: "I am very grateful and appreciative to the professors and the program, their flexibility allowed me to complete my educational goals. I'm the first in my family to graduate from college, and I'm 41!"
