Lind has made dozens of academic and business-based presentations to for-profit, not-for-profit, and public-side groups, as well as having conducted many strategic planning seminars for churches and community service not-for-profit organizations.
Lind has also served as president and/or chief executive of financial institutions and manufacturing/aerospace industry companies.
CHURCH and COMMUNITY SERVICE:
Evangelical Friends Church, Southwest: Served as Board Chair and Presiding Officer.
Board Member: Quaker Meadow Camp, California Friends Homes, Boys and Girls Club, YMCA, Intercommunity Child Guidance Center, Samaritan Counseling Center, Lions Club, Whittier Museum Endowment, local Friends Churches.
HOBBIES/INTERESTS:
Fishing, antique cars, cooking, and beating weaker opponents at table tennis (Dr. Mutunga).
PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION/ FAVORITE SCRIPTURE:
My personal education philosophy is to practice “relationship education” where the teacher and student learn from each other, and that:
