History
The School of Graduate Studies began as a graduate program of Pacific Christian College in 1974 offering coursework in Ministry/Church Dynamics. In 1986 coursework toward a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy was added and the program was approved for State of California licensure. The MBA and MSM were added in 1995 as the Management Department. Graduate work in Education followed in 1996 and the Teacher Credential program in 1997. The Master of Church Music and a Master of Arts in Religious Studies programs were added in 1998.
Today, the School of Graduate Studies offers both on-site and online graduate programs at a top Southern California Christian university, Hope International University.
