The Hope International University Campus Safety Department is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to respond to calls for assistance. Hope International University contracts with Knight Protection Services to provide trained, professional security officers.

Campus Safety officers have the right to stop, detain, question, and escort anyone suspected of committing a crime on campus or adjacent university-owned apartment complexes. The Campus Safety Office works closely with the Fullerton Police Department.

Hope International University encourages all victims of crimes to file incident reports with the Campus Safety Office. The Campus Safety office is located in the middle of campus, at the end of Titan Drive. Reports may be filed at the office or by calling (714) 681-7333. Copies of incident reports are processed through proper university channels. The Campus Safety officers will also assist those wishing to file reports with Fullerton Police Department.

Campus Safety officers provide a number of services to the members of the university community and its visitors. The services include: 24-hour patrol and emergency assistance; parking enforcement; dispatch via person-to-person contact or by telephone and radio communication; and on-campus escort services. Campus Safety officers provide a 24-hour foot patrol and are available to grant and limit access to university property as needed.
