Hope International University in Fullerton, CA has been named a military friendly school by the G.I. Jobs magazine and on its military and veteran College Matchmaker at www.MilitaryFriendlySchools.com. Military friendly school status is granted after exhaustive research is completed by G.I. Jobs through a comprehensive survey. Qualities such as programs and policies that accommodate service members and veterans, flexible learning programs, tuition benefits, acceptance of the GI Bill, and membership in the Service Members Opportunity Consortium qualified HIU as a military friendly school. This distinction ranks HIU in the top 15% of higher education institutions in the nation.
HIU is also proud to participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program under the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The Yellow Ribbon Program provides enhanced tuition assistance for military students who want to attend private schools and out-of-state schools.
In addition, HIU offers a number of other benefits to military members, veterans, and their families. The Department of Defense Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts (MyCAA) program provides a lifetime benefit of up to $4,000 of financial assistance for military spouses who are pursuing associate degrees, certification, and licensures leading to employment in portable career fields.
