6/9/09 Fullerton, CA - Hope International University Receives CCTC Approval for Preliminary Administrative Services Credential
Hope International University announces approval for yet another academic program that will expand educational opportunities to its students. The Preliminary Administrative Services Credential brings breadth to HIU’s already strong education-focused programs. The Master of Education and Multiple Subject Credential are some of the University’s most popular programs, and have produced many Teachers of the Year award recipients and nominees over the years.
Dr. George West, Chair of the Graduate Education Department and School Board Member for the Garden Grove USD, states, “This is a cutting-edge program with current reading material and instructors who are practitioners, modeling best practices of visionary organizational leaders. Graduates will be equipped to enter the job market with knowledge, leadership skills, and experience in a variety of field experiences.”
The program is available in both 100% online delivery and on-campus format for one night a week.
Coursework for the new Credential program is scheduled to begin August 31, 2009. Hope also will be releasing a Master of Arts in Educational Administration degree to accompany the Credential. Approval from the Western Association of Schools & Colleges (WASC), a regional accrediting body, is anticipated for June, 2009.
