FCRT’s Fiddler Coming to Pacific Auditorium

Celebrating their one year anniversary of performing in HIU’s Pacific Auditorium, the Fullerton Children’s Repertory Theater will be premiering their production of Fiddler on the Roof on July 3rd. Evening and day performance tickets are available for purchase online.

Fiddler on the Roof follows Jewish milkman Tevye, the father of five daughters. While he attempts to keep the family together and faithful to Jewish tradition, each of his three eldest daughters choose a husband who is far from the family’s customs. There is also political tension in their home in Russia because the Tsar has ordered that Jews be evicted from their village. With music by Jerry Bock and lyrics by Sheldon Harnick, Fiddler on the Roof is one of the most beloved Broadway musicals. The original production, which ran for 10 years, won 9 Tony awards including Best Musical, and the 1971 film adaptation won three Academy Awards.
