Honoring Dr. Knofel Staton
Dr. Knofel Staton has announced his retirement at the end of the fall semester. Dr. Staton has made invaluable contributions to the University both as President from 1981 to 1990 and as Professor of Biblical Studies from 1990 to present. Staton has also served and impacted countless churches around the world. Through his dedication, vision, wisdom, leadership, and instruction, his legacy will surely continue even as he leaves the University.
We encourage you to leave a personal tribute for Dr. Staton below which will be presented to him during a special Chapel service on October 5. Dr. Staton's contributions to Hope International University have been numerous. Please join us in graciously honoring him.
Chapel will be held on Thursday, October 5 at 9:30 a.m. in the Pacific Auditorium and will feature a retirement tribute to Dr. Staton for his service to the University. You are invited to join us for the service and a reception immediately following in the Santa Ana room of the Lawson-Fulton Student Center.
