PCC Graduate Receives 2007 Christian Education Award from Standard Publishing
PCC graduate, Jona Giboney, was awarded the 2007 Standard Publishing Award for Outstanding Promise in Christian Education. She was one of only fourteen recipients of the award that honors students who exhibit excellence in Christian education, Christian character, passion for education in the church, and proven aptitude in their area of ministry.
Standard Publishing is one of the nations leading suppliers of Christian Curriculum and other Christian resources. Every year Standard Publishing awards students within the Christian education system that demonstrate academic excellence and a strong capacity for ministry.
Winners of the award receive a gift of over $400 in Christian Education resource products to be used to further their education and professional lives.
Giboney plans to work on her teaching credential at Hope’s School of Graduate Studies before she travels overseas to become a children’s teacher.
