Pacific Christian College Establishes New Major
Beginning in the fall of 2007, the undergraduate school of Hope International University will introduce a new major to the academic catalog. The new major, Crosscultural Business Administration (CBA), is a 127-unit Bachelor of Arts degree designed for students seeking a program that blends intercultural studies with business.
CBA will be of value for two primary groups of students. The first group consists of students intent on becoming missionaries in foreign countries. Students will learn how to approach different cultures, while being able to contribute economically to foreign countries. Graduates of this program will have a strong cross-cultural understanding, while also possessing the ability to become a contributing member of their designated country.
The CBA program is also designed to prepare students wishing to pursue careers in international business. CBA will provide students with a strong background in business management, while also providing them with the intercultural training needed to become successful in the international business arena.
