Faculty Member Dr. David Timms Releases New Book, “Living the Lord’s Prayer”

Dr. David Timms reveals the why behind writing his latest book on the Lord’s Prayer, “Ultimately, the Lord's Prayer reveals more about how to live than how to pray. In the Lord's Prayer, Jesus provided the greatest Christian teaching of the centuries on spiritual formation. This brief prayer with its simple words still speaks to those desiring genuine intimacy with God.”

About Dr. David Timms
David Timms teaches New Testament and Theology and serves as chair of the Graduate Ministry Department at Hope. Australian by birth, David has been a church planter, pastor, and trainer of pastors for twenty-five years. He and his wife, Kim, have three sons and live in Fullerton, California.
Timms publishes a weekly e-publication, “In HOPE”, that shares his reflections on Christian leadership and spiritual formation. “In HOPE” is well received by many. Timms is appreciated for his passionate and humble means of communicating relevant topics of the Christian’s faith journey, such as intimacy with God. His thought-provoking ruminations seem to have a way of seeping straight to the heart.
