Hope Alum Tryone Wells Plays Concert at Hope
On Friday, September 19, 2008, Hope International University had the privilege of hosting Tyrone Wells (B.A. ’98) in concert. Tyrone Wells is an HIU graduate in the midst of a skyrocketing career and a national tour. Tyrone has been both a worship leader and a recording artist. The major record label, Universal Republic, is releasing his latest album, “Hold On”.

Steve Alley, Associate Professor of Children's Ministry, and Cora Alley, Associate Professor of English, wrote the companion children’s curriculum to Disney’s The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. Royals Win Men’s Tennis National Championship The Hope International Men’s Tennis Team won the 2008 NCCAA National Tournament with a 5-2 win over Dallas Baptist on Thursday morning. Four Royals were named NCCAA All-Americans- Rajko Mladenovic and Marko Kustudija in singles along with Felix Haufe and Johan Weich for their doubles play. Faculty Members and Students Serve in New Orleans Over seven trips, where students rebuild homes in New Orleans, have been led by professors Katie Bond-Stricker and Jessica Grimes.
