Our language programs include programs in the following areas:

Reading/Writing

• Skills for writing essays on academic and personal topics
• Foundation for academic research
• Practice word processing and internet surfing skills
• Extensive reading of authentic college texts on various subjects

Oral Communication

• Fluency in listening and speaking both in everyday situations and in academic environment
• Using and understanding common idioms
• Practice pronunciation in the state-of-the-art Language Lab
• Learning American culture
• Formal oral presentation skills
• Listening to academic lectures and taking notes techniques

TOEFL and TOEIC Preparation

• In-depth study of English guided by the TOEFL testing design including listening, structure, reading and writing.
• Advanced grammar development
• Computer-Based testing strategies
• Latest textbooks and software
• Preparation for the TOEIC testing design is also available
• The Institutional TOEFL is offered twice a semester
