9/22/2008 - Matt Sanger Named GSAC Offensive Player of the Week Matt Sanger Fullerton, CA- Senior Defender and Team Captain Matt Sanger was named the GSAC Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week as announced today by the Golden State Athletic Conference. 9/19/2008 - Sanger and Defense Just Enough Against Chapman Orange, CA- For the second time in as many games, Senior Matt Sanger scored the game’s only goal off a header as the Royals defeated Chapman 1-0 on Friday. 9/17/2008 - Golden to Sanger Equals Win Riverside, CA- On Wednesday, Freshman Tyler Golden found Senior Matt Sanger’s head with a throw in which then in turn found the back of the net for the only goal of the game as the Royals defeated La Sierra 1-0 on the road. 9/15/2008 - Perris Rowan Named GSAC Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week Fullerton, CA- Sophomore Midfielder Perris Rowan was named the GSAC Men’s Soccer Player of the Week for his efforts last week as announced today by the Golden State Athletic Conference. Rowan scored two of the three goals scored by the Royals last week- a game winning goal against Whittier and a game-tying goal against Academy of Arts. more...


9/13/2008 - Royals Battered and Bruised Settle for Tie Fullerton, CA- The entire Men’s Soccer team will feel the effects of playing against Academy of Art (CA) on Saturday after the double overtime affair ended in a 1-1 tie. 9/1/2008 - Royals Start Season 3-0 Prescott, AZ- The Men’s Soccer team opened the 2008 season with a road trip to Arizona and came home a perfect 3-0 while outscoring their opponents a combined score of 6-1.
